NCLEX-PN · Prioritization and the PN role

Prepanchor Prioritization & Delegation for the NCLEX-PN® Exam

Study aid for exam preparation only — not clinical guidance. Follow your program's and facility's protocols.

For practical nurse candidates who find it hard to tell what is theirs to do, what to report to the RN or provider, and what to assign to assistive personnel.

  • Coordinated Care
  • Safety and Infection Prevention and Control
  • Who to see first
  • Recognizing and reporting a change in condition
  • Assigning tasks to assistive personnel
  • Working within the PN scope

What's inside

Coordinated Care is the largest area on the 2026 PN test plan (18–24% of items). It covers working with the care team: assigning tasks, monitoring assistive personnel, giving and receiving report, and knowing when to ask for help. PN scope differs by state; this pack teaches exam reasoning, and on the job you follow your state board's rules and your facility's policies.

    Questions

What do I get, and in what format?

Questions run in your browser and track your progress by topic. The guide and the scenarios are PDFs.

    Who checks the questions?

Every question is reviewed and signed off by a registered nurse before it goes live. Questions and explanations are written for exam study and recall practice, at the level of the PN test plan.

Which lab ranges do you use?

Lab values in our packs are commonly taught ranges; your program's ranges may vary. Always use the ranges your program and facility give you.

How long do I keep access?

12 months of online access. The PDFs and audio you download are yours to keep.

Which devices does it work on?

Any phone, tablet or computer with an up-to-date browser. Your progress follows your account.

Is it in the app too?

No. The pack works in the web browser on any phone, tablet or computer, so there's nothing to install.

    Can I get a refund?

Every pack is digital and opens the moment you pay, so we don't refund a change of mind. If something doesn't work because of a problem on our side and we can't fix it, we refund you. Refunds never depend on your test result. How refunds work.

    Is this official?

No. Prepanchor is an independent publisher, not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN), which develops the NCLEX. We write our own questions and case studies.

    Free from NCSBN

NCSBN, which develops the NCLEX, has a free tutorial, a sample pack with PN case studies, and the full PN test plan. Use them alongside this pack.
